Is It OK to Change My Essay Topic Now?

Is It OK to Change My Essay Topic Now?So you have a student who asks you, 'Is it OK to change my essay topic now?' You may be puzzled as to what exactly they are asking you to do. But the truth is that every college professor has a dozen or so students at any given time and some of those students are concerned about their grades. This should not be an obstacle, but rather it can cause you stress if you don't know how to handle it correctly.I once had a student ask me to help her with an assignment for a final that she was struggling with, but she did not have the information to support her claim. She basically said that she felt that she could write the paper if she used her personal experience as the basis for the argument. I told her that this was not possible because she was not dealing with her knowledge as it pertains to her subject matter. The final grade was an entire grade that was based upon her paper being a final. This does not mean that the final must be written using her experiences as her basis. In fact, it is important to ask the student to show you some papers to assist you in reviewing the reasonableness of their claims. It is not OK to change your essay topic now if a student is looking for help to revise their writing. Students who are looking for help to improve their essays have already stated the topic and have enough information to go off of. Students who are interested in revising the paper may just be beginning on the essay and the topic is only going to get more complicated as the semester progresses. The professor will want to know what the purpose of the essay is so he can explain how they are addressing the topic in the writing of the paper.Students have the right to change their essay topic any time during the semester. That's the whole point of a school, so they are allowed to change it. It is not to change the topic because the professor told you to do it, then change it so that you can get away with it and the professor is bound t o notice. If the student wants to discuss an assignment that is currently graded for a final grade and this course requires the final to be written in response to a survey. The final is used as the final assignment and the student needs to demonstrate the ability to write a research paper. Changing the essay topic in this case is entirely proper because it is a short report written in response to a survey that is not due until the following semester. The student should talk to the professor and find out the best way to contact him or her for the whole semester to give you an idea of how long the essays should be and how they should be prepared. For the reason of avoiding surprises, the student should prepare a number of essays that are ready to send to the professor and study. This allows the student to submit an essay during the course but also gives the professor an opportunity to review the work without a deadline to decide if it has a high enough grade. The answer to the question ' Is it OK to change my essay topic now?' is, of course, it depends.
